Just found out RS2 2 is in the works, and I couldn't be happier for anyone who hasn't seen it @Markconfirmed it on Facebook while we have no release date he shared a ss and said the game will be on steam and I'm so happy I really hope the charts are fair in this game as it is probably the biggest part of gameplay for me and it sort of ruins the fun when my artist drop from #1 for no reason to never return there... i wish for consistency with #1 lengths and realistic jumps on charts and ways to promote a song to benefit a chart position i hope all of you are well and hopefully this forum is back up and running for the release of R2S 2!

This happens to me, but I find that restarting the game and loading your game back up, the duplicates will disappear.

Hi Mark! I absolutely love the game and spend an unhealthy amount of time on it lol. I just wanted to give some suggestions Award Shows - I think that the simulation overall in this area could be improved, most of the most acclaimed albums/singles/videos never end up with a single award despite having massive sales. Most awards go to people never even heard of in the game. Remix Albums - Remix albums would be a nice touch, say an artist wants to increase their hype with a remix album they could do it similar to a greatest hits album just with remixes. Like Dua Lipa's "Club Future Nostalgia" or Lady Gaga's "Dawn Of Chromatica" Artists in general - It would be nice if we could add more depth to our characters with more options that have to do with themselves for example say an artist doesn't like to tour or the artist is starting a family and going on hiatus. More detail options would be nice Subgenres - Subgenres would be nice to just to give a little depth into the work an artist is creating. Public/Fan reaction - It would be lovely if there was a section similar to the Wendy Williams section of the Media section. This area could benefit as an area where you could see public and fan reaction to the work put out. Press Conferences - It would be nice if you could set up press conferences in different places around the world similar to autograph signing's Tour Extensions - Tour extended could be a nice addition in order to increase ticket sales and hype longevity, say an artist is about to break a tour sales records but can because the tour is about to end. Notifications when an artist has gone gold/platinum in the home menu Overall artist customization options - Like the real world it would be nice if artists could change it up a bit every release to keep that sense of mystery (Genre, Name, Ways the promote) More ways of promotion - TV ads, Billboards, Merch, Brand Collabs would be a nice addition to the single/album release screen when promoting. ALSO! (I know its a lot) I heard you're upgrading the UI, It would be nice if there was a database of random picture that could serve as albums covers for all the albums released in the game just to make it unique. They could show up when an award show is announcing it's noms or on the charts screen. So much love keep up the amazing work!!!! ❤️

Yes! We need more ways to promote. Also with the album covers, it might be cool to have a color wheel of some sort to just made the album cover a solid color or a gradient? So we don’t have to keep re-using the same preselected pictures, but rather have a color story for the album

Late reply. I am ok had some issues but coming back to life and havent given up on the game.

I will check for all of these when i get back home, I usually play the large database, but I also started a small and very small database games differently and still encountered the same problem

Hey, Mark! The game is great but, aside from the award shows, i feel like the success/quality of the albums and songs are only measured by the numbers and sometimes the best albums end up winning no awards. My suggestion would be to create like a press section, with reviews from some of the albums and then end-of-year and end-of-decade lists. That way an album could be recognized. Even if it was not a commercial success, it could be critically aclaimed. My second suggestion is to have something related with the artist's fashion on the award shows. The game could have a section dedicated to red carpet of the award shows. The best dressed artists would appear on a "best dressed" list after the show and it would have a positive impact on their hype. This could be based on the fashion stats of the artist. Hey, I noticed that you can't add songs that were already released on an ep/album. I understand album however, artist put previously released songs from their eps and singles on albums so it would make sense for us to also do it in game.

Yeah I think there is so much that can be done with Tours and it need reworking, these are good ideas.

and maybe you can choose to release a normal single or promo single, or even add remixes to the single to make it chart higher

Music Video Teaser: Since there isn't any manual way to create hype for a music video, introducing music video teasers can fill that gap. It can be promoted through YouTube on any other social media platform and would generally come out a few days before the actual music video itself. Song Snippet: It isn't common but is frequently used among the rap community where they give their fan base very brief snippets/tease of an unreleased track, can generate hype on it and could be a budget marketing method.

Hi, i really love your game but i have a few suggestions 1. Ask for feature so i think there should be something where instead of your artist just going on a feature the label has to approve it like for instance if my artist is Katy Perry and someone else is Meghan Trainor i would have to say if they can collaborate with that artist 2. Band Glitch so when i release 1 album with a band they just disappear (not split up just disappear) can you try to fix this? 3. symbols i would really like to use symbols on my songs but some don't work including '?/&$# and more can you fix this? 4. Can you do a feature with artists like Katy Perry, Kanye West and the more popular artists where when you join the came (say 2020) it has all there previous albums and singles? 5. Leaks & Postponing i think these are what happens to some albums like the album has a chance of leaking a few days before release. postponing a single or album is also usual (like what Meghan Trainor has done by postponing "Treat Myself" by a year) where if the album has leaked you can post pone it o bring it forward 6. Deluxe, Remix extended plays (ep) i think that there should be you can do a remix ep (or just remix or even acoustic) for a song to boost sales. a lot of albums have a deluxe so i think that after a few months you can release the deluxe of your album with a few new tracks. also the structure like not that many artists just release the album they release lead single, second single, 3rd single and some promo singles so i feel like you should add a feature that when you chose the release date for the album and can you have releases on Friday? because right now they are on Monday and now a lot of artists release on Fridays or Saturdays I love your game and hope you take some of my suggestions and fix those bugs!
