Solo Contracts Question (Not a Bug)

Ive just noticed that when you go into band members and look at their finance you have an option to offer a solo contract. Does this mean the band breaks up or do they continue being in the band but also have a solo contract?

Every time I tried it the band goes into a quite long hiatus to let its members go into solo projects. At the end of the hiatus they decide if they go back to the band, continue the hiatus or break the band.

Oh, it would have been cool if the band were still around but also allow solo at the same time

@Mark Would be cool to have solo and band at the same time (a bit like how take that have albums whilst they have solo careers at the same time)

Right now it can only be hiatus and solo while in a band, I can rethink how this is done in a later version. In theory it would possible but id need to think about how often it happens and could releases class, most likely not so hiatus takes care of this for now.

Cool, I would love to see this implemented. I think it would be cool if you could release band and solo at the same time without being on a hiatus.
