Extremely long writing sessions

I started a new save. Start date 1/1/2021. Level Hard.

I play as an existing label with 12 artists.

I sent all of them on writing/mixing sessions on Day 1.

It is now March 3 (so 61 days later) and the second of those twelve writing sessions has just finished.

So 10 of them are still writing. 

I wonder if it is a bug or because this is level Hard.

I'll update a bit later how long the sessions actually were when they are all finished.

So I restarted the same save on level Normal to see if it would make a difference but it didn't. 

I'm starting to think it has to do with sending them all to the same studio.

The order in which they finish writing is the same as the order on my screen.

I.e. the first one I sent on a writing session finished first, the second finished second, and so forth.

I started a new save again. It's still as if they can't write simultaneously.

First the first report comes in, then he is finished, then the second starts and gets reported on, and finishes, and the third one is reported on.

I'm on March the 2nd now.

I made sure to send them all to different studios this time.

The bottom three of my artists in the list are still writing. They started January 1st.
