If you get stuck simulating you can still use the save function.

 

Try saving the game the simming just one day, this usually fixes the issue for me.

Ok thats a first, I think this is actually fixed on next patch as ive been testing heavily the new simming routine and did hit that so this was one of the delays. It should not dramatically mess with your game however.

Oh, that's great to hear. Can I ask, what exactly does "database locked" mean?

Had problems writing to .db file but will retry later.
