After reaching 300 songs in my artist's database, newly written songs don't appear in the database unless I delete another song. The number won't go above 300. Is this intentional?

This bug is still present in the current version. :-[

Even my artist with 100 on live performance and 100 tour practice keeps getting 60's and 70's on her tours. I realize this was already mentioned by another user some time ago, but I felt like bringing it up again.

I really like all of the ideas you suggested, especially the one about repackages and different editions. "Deluxe editions" are huge right now, and repackages are a fun idea. Something like the ability to give a new cover to the album and add new songs sounds awesome.

How long is it taking to manufacture the CDs? If it's showing "28 weeks", then it's a bug you can fix by changing the amount of CDs you want to produce, then changing it back to normal.

There are hundreds of music genres in the world, and it'll be impossible to add them all into the game while trying to preserve balance. So, why not allow users to add the genres they wish to use? That way, if someone wants to create an artist for a really obscure genre, like Vegan Straight Edge (this is an actual genre in spotify lol) they can just add it in the editor instead of having to ask you to do it.

CD Covers don't work with album re-releases either, so you might wanna check that too lol

A similar bug also occurs on album re-releases, where it shows EVERY single song that i've released before as being part of the one album i'm trying to re-release.

Sorry for making two threads, I have the memory of a goldfish and forgot to mention another bug... Some of the songs in the selection screen are listed as new songs, even though they were featured in a previous album.

Just tried adding a cover to my solo artist's greatest hits album, and it didn't work. I'm assuming that this bug is similar to the one with bands that you already fixed.

After Eurovision, I checked the name of the winner and tried to find her to offer her a contract, but it seemed like she didn't actually exist. Is this a glitch, or are the participants non-existent?

The contract bug also happens to me, so it's not only your savefile.

I don't know the exact aspect ratio for CD Covers, but the ones I use right now are pretty much on-spot. For Singles= 900x648 For EPs/Albums= 900x720 Singles and EPs/Albums have different aspect ratios. Seems like a peculiar design decision imo.

Traditionally, album covers have an aspect ratio of 1:1 (a square) but in this game, they are rectangles. Is there a specific reason why it is this way? I realize it probably has something to do with the UI design, but i'd still like to know if it's possible to change them into squares.

Did you get the message that said that the writing session had finished?

I also have this question. I sent my artist to like 10 radio interviews before my single released, but the hype didn't go up at all. Music videos didn't seem to help, either...

I've encountered both of these bugs; I even made a thread for the first one lol. It's happening with a band, right? It seems like the bug only occurs with covers for a band's EP or album. The second one always happens to me, and I just assumed it was an actual feature, but now that you mention it, it's probably a bug. Glad you brought it up.

I also encountered this glitch. I think it occurs when you try to create an EP that includes songs that you've already produced. I have no problems producing new songs for an EP, but if i try to include previously produced ones, it gets stuck in the vocal producer screen.

There's a bunch of genres, and yet progressive rock and metal are missing. It's a rather popular genre, and quite different from normal rock and metal. Appetite for Destruction by Guns n' Roses and The Dark Side of The Moon by Pink Floyd are completely different types of rock. One is hard rock/glam rock and the other one is progressive rock. I feel it's necessary to differentiate them. Other genre suggestions: Alternative Rock (very important genre in the rock community. Again, Radiohead and Pink Floyd are both rock, but they're pretty damn different.) Symphonic Rock/Metal (You already have the violin and cello options, so why not include this genre? It would also blend really well with the idea of movie soundtracks, since having a 'symphonic' song in a movie makes a lot of sense.) Art Pop (This one is a little more specific and niche, but it really wouldn't hurt to add it. The way I see it, having a wide variety of genres adds more fun to the game, even if you won't end up using many of them.) Jazz Jazz Rap (To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar, anyone? Also, you've already got the saxophone/trumpet options, so it works well.) Now, to my other idea: Instrumental songs Instrumental songs are a staple of electronica and genres like progressive rock. I feel this is an important feature to have. I don't know the way you'd implement them, but you should be able to differentiate them from songs with actual lyrics in them. Thank you for your time, and I really hope you at least consider adding some of these genres. (Progressive rock and metal in specific, wink wink)

Sorry for the incredibly late reply lol, but I just found out that this problem only happens with the EPs and Albums of a Band. It doesn't happen with Solo Artists. I tested it a few times, even a fresh installation, and it keeps happening.

I used the website, but trusted the message that said my save files wouldn't be lost. ???
