Game isn’t loading

I try yo start a new game, but it won’t start and freeze in “current progress: Load New Database” I’m with the default database and I haven’t touched anything

Did you have the old version installed before? If so a fresh reinstall please.

I uninstalled before downloading the 1.2 version, tried again and reinstalled, same problem, I can’t start a new game

Make sure you have selected the database Real artists please. By default the preferences arent set

Done, I made sure I’m using the real artists database, but still the problem persists, seems like it freezes for some reason

Can you post a screenshot at what point and also do you have an errorlog generated?

This is when it freezes, not sure what you're referring to errorlog

Purely a database issue. Can you show me this screen and what you have set.

Can you try putting this file in your directory. Its just a preference file. See if makes a difference

Did you use any characters like Û etc as this might cause problems

Not at all, I haven't edited anything. By the way, the databases appear when I open up the folder directly, but, if starting a game, I try to locate the database (since it doesn't work manually) they're not here

On the text box does it say .db at the end of RealArtists or .r2s. The filter for files is wrong thats all its looked for .r2s

They're db archives, should it say r2s somewhere?

Nope db is right. where you have the file location in the textbox does it show you RealArtists.db?

next to custom database in new game setup

Same thing is happening to me. I had uninstalled the previous Road 2 Success, changed nothing in the database. I have been stuck at the screen or 20 minutes. If you are able to help me in any way, then I would appreciate that. For me, next to custom database, it says .db, not .r2S
