  1. You should bring it back, and have a toggle for it the same way to skip Eurovision.
  2. It's a matter of how long your song can stay within the top 100 list the longest. I've had songs that stayed on the chart for at most 9 months. I personally haven't had any Diamond certifications in the US portion of the game, but it's a goal. I'd say keep promoting the single throughout the years with TV show appearances and don't release new singles, as it can slow sales and have hype focus on the newer singles. I can't answer your question, but it's safe to say it's possible, but hard to achieve.
  3. I want to know why it needs admin rights? Also are you planning to remove the need for admin rights? It's not an issue for me, but would seem convenient.
  4. It would be nice to have EPs go up to 10 tracks, but like Mark said, It should be an option to go up to 8, but not 10.
  5. Forgot this one thing: If you want to generate hype for a single, promote the single through TV shows, and click the option you want to promote your latest single. Same goes for the album as well.

    Complete Database

[anchor=Find]Finding The Editor[/anchor] If you want to setting up the database or import one, you can do it from the Road 2 Success Editor. It's located in the game files, which shouldn't be too hard to find. The default directory in which the game is installed is: C:\Program Files (x86)\The Road 2 Success Game\Editor (Note: If you modified the directory from the installation, ignore the directory shown above.) Click R2S_Editor.exe [anchor=Import]Importing A Database from another user[/anchor] Simple, Move the database file from its original place, and you move it to: C:\Program Files (x86)\The Road 2 Success Game\Game Files (Note: If you modified the directory from the installation, ignore the directory shown above.) The database file you downloaded has to be in the Road2Success Game Files directory. Once you got the move done, go on to R2SEditor.exe and Load the database, or import it to another one, under the obvious "Import one to Another".
  7. You're able to see certifications through the artists' singles. Your Label > Your Arists/Bands > [Artist Name] > Music > View Single Data > Certs* * = Certs is short for Certifications You'll see the certifications your single has earned throughout the course of its time of being on sale. Note that every country has its requirements of receiving the Gold, Platinum, and Diamond status.
  8. Forgot this one: Can you automatically have the marketing team select our manufacturing facilities and distributors by default? I don't appreciate having to manually select some facilities and distributors. I know the mareting team does sometimes, but it'd save a lot of time. [glow=red,2,100]P.S., I really love the game so far, and how much it progressed. -J[/glow]
  9. Producers Sidenote:Their genres are genres the songs they were apart of, however names with two genres are options for you to pick for your mod Allen Ritter (Hip-hop) Frank Dukes (Hip-hop) J. 10. I was thinking why is the energy stat always above 95 and doesn't fluctuate throughout the game? My suggestion is to have the energy stat decrease slowly during tours, and decrease by an increment of 1 for every song that's being made. It would be a nice touch to have it decrease by 2 for every week an album is being made/reproduced. Also, why is self-producing a song comes out so low-quality? Same thing goes for having a celebrity producing music for another artist? Having to spend between $600,000 - $1,000,000 for a song that's going to come out with the same numbers as an unsigned, crappy artist shouldn't be an option to spend money on. I also wanted more festivals such as Coachella (Any artist, North America), Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) (Dance/Electronic, North America), Tomorrowland (Dance/Electronic)[Tomorrowland festival goes around the world every year. Can you tweak the custom studio scores and relative costs to record music there? I want to have a high quality studio, compared to Blackbird and Oceanway, but not have any artist to pay almost $200,000. I'd like to know the reason why it's set up that way. I want your opinion on why the application's window is small. Is the more-compact resolution easier to code with? [glow=red,2,100]I do want some feedback with is, even though this is a personal suggestion, I'm sure I'm not the only one concerned about the suggestions I provided. -J[/glow]
  11. Even though these aren't all the bugs I found, this is some I can remember when writing this. For almost every game I played, I noticed that whenever I'm a PLC and release shares to the public, and want to take my shares back, it doesn't give me the option to take shares from the Public. Rather, it gives me no option but a blank option box. This bug is the sole reason I don't have the game automatically saving: Whenever I have the saving to be automatic, it does work. However, when its save interval is every month, and in the middle of the week is the start of a new month, it saves, but the simulation restarts. (Ex., It's Sunday and I let it simulate for a week. The new month falls on a thursday. The game saves, but thinks Thursday is the day I set it to run for a week, and continues on.) Sometimes, it does the re-simulate bug/glitch, and does it for two weeks. Since I have the currency set to USD ($), I do find it a bit funny that the pound sterling (£) is found in the Create a Music Video. Specifically, in: Animation, when asking the animation team to make unique characters Not really a small bug, but I prefer to call it a glitch. I planned to have some atists go on tour a few months in advance. I save the game to close the application. When I go back to the saved game, the artists' planned tours are gone from the Tour information screen, but their schedule says they're still on the tour, and I still receive income from the now-gone tours. This could be a glitch with the displaying tours. Another not-so-small bug that I sometimes encounter is the Wendy's Hot Topics. I usually have my R2S application on when I hibernate my computer (the sole reason that my computer is on Hibernation/sleep), and every time I resume to my game, I'm always expecting a 50/50 chance the Hot Gossip interface is missing. No text is displayed on 'This Week's Hot Gosip', but I'm assuming the hype functions still work. Whenever I want to decline a sponsorship offer, it gives me the notification that I declined it, but the offer is still there and so is the option of whether to decline or accept it; I end up accepting every offer I declined. When an artist is done writing music, it says that the artist isn't writing. When I check the artist's writing status, it gives a list of songs they wrote, and additional songs that didn't make the final cut to the database. When selecting a tour merchandiser and confirm my selection, it doesn't immediately go to the next step. (Don't know if that's a bug or something you didn't code in). In Movie soundtracks, many soundtracks duplicate themselves, at least when it comes to showing what soundtracks have been released. In every game I played, some new manufacture facilities are made, but gets duplicated as the game progresses. Additionally, not every single and album is displayed on what was manufactured in the facility for every facility, and in some of my facilities, shows a blank list, even though I manufacture my artists' singles and albums there. 6 May 2018 Update When starting auditions, selecting my artists as advisors, their fees for the auditions only show for the first advisor, and not the other two. Instead, it shows the first artist's fee for advising or simply a blank screen. I don't know if you intended this, but in "Your Bands" list and look at relationships, it opens a small tab to click relationships, as if there was more than one button to click, much like with rap artists when clicking Relationships or Rivals.
  12. You can hype this during interviews for the artist, which if the artist has an album or single that is is released/being released, you have the option to 'promote' it (pretty much hype), which will increase the hype, and I'm assuming this will give you a better release debut. This can be automated the same way as automating Promotion bookings. Hope this helps.
  13. How about 1.2 should have all artists (bands, too?) be able to songwrite and produce for other artists/bands. In that case, there could be a new ability and have a select few artists produce for others, such as Lady Gaga, Metro Boomin, Travis Scott, Kanye West--just to name a few. It'd be +1 for the game.
  14. Since these artists include smaller labels, it would be better if they were included by its parent companies, such as KIDinaKORNER, can be put into Interscope Records. It can simplify the database and time that Mark can implement into further updates.
