wait how do you rerelease albums in 1.2?

I think one thing that should be added is songs that don’t chart at all. I have yet to have a single that hasn’t charted in the top 5 of any country. i feel like sometimes songs just flop and don’t do well, which adds a lot of depth to the game in my opinion and makes it harder (and more realistic). also like my very first debut single where i had little followers and no reputation, still debuted at 2 worldwide and 3 in the usa. i just feel like that’s not right because most artists are unknown and unless they get super lucky, there first single probably won’t be a hit. another thing i think would be cool to add is making artists that only do moderately well. in the game as of now, if you put in a lot of money to an artist, they are basically guaranteed a number 1 hit at some point in their career. they will probably have many. it would be nice to see that you could put money into artists but that doesn’t guarantee success. like sometimes maybe they only chart for one week or not at all, or there highest peaking single ever is in the mid 30s or 40s. hopefully this makes sense and sorry for any typos! i also just want to say that i’m obsessed with this game and it’s the most realistic one out there. i appreciate your hard work!

yes!! and songs that don’t do well. not every song by an artist hits #1. sometimes they don’t even chart or they chart low. I wish there was a little bit more randomness. I did notice that in my game my artist was on their 5th-6th album cycle, and my sales significantly decreased. i don’t know if this is just how it coded but it made the game a lot more interesting to me when sales started to decline. like my singles were consistently selling 9-10 million and during this album cycle it when down more from like 5-8 million. i just thought that was interesting and something that could be explored in future updates!

not mark, but that’s cause there’s a certain max sales per week set for each country based off population and other things. you can change it in the game editor but as of now that will make everyone’s sales go up. so if u debut at 800,000 units, it’s likely everyone else will.

Hello! I’ve been playing this game for awhile now, but i’ve ran into the issue of not being able to release a single. i’ve tried reloading and everything, but once i get to the “confirm release” screen, it won’t do anything when i click the “confirm release” button. hopefully there is a way i can fix this as i’m trying to start my fourth album cycle for my artist and in six years into the game. thank you!
