Legend Points

I just got a notification that I've received some legend points during the gameplay. What exactly is this and how will it affect the game?

I think if you get enough points you can unlock legends (Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, etc)

How do you access them? Are they on your label? Or just in the game?

I haven't reached it myself. Only got like 1 year into a save, then I start new ones. I mainly test what I edit, what effects it has on sales & popularity.

I think on your label though, or at least that you can sign them.

You unlock artists in the start off with an artist section. I need a better way to let you know who you have unlocked. Or alternatively I could just make it so you select to have legends in the db or not.
