How do your artists win awards?

The average album/single in the game is usually ~60-70 on all 3 ratings. However, even when my artist's releases are over 90 on each rating they dont even get nominated.

How exactly do you win awards? Is it sales based?

Some award elements such as Single of the year are based purely on sales, and it is chosen random.

 

Sadly, this is the only award that is predictable, and is up to the game to determine the nominees and winners.

Top x number of tracks put into a group, few criteria to break down further then some playing with numbers.

 

Awards and festivals will get a rework but they will need some time and a 100% rewrite.
