Won't let my artists write songs?

Every time I set my artists to start writing songs, they always come back with none - is there a way to fix this?

From what I've heard it's random, sometimes sessions won't produce anything and sometimes they'll produce a lot. I think getting producers/mixers with high motivation helps though? It usually helps me!

Everytime? Are you sure its everytime? You are never guaranteed songs however most of the time they will produce a few.
