No one is ever nominated for these awards and the slots remain blank. Is this a bug?

Yeah in my game some of the awards has no winners or nominations. Sometimes that particular award show, such as Teen Choice Awards took place during the previous year but there are only blank spaces for the current year, like the show doesn't take place even after simming past the date of the awards.
