Being featured

Is there some sort of factor which decides if your artist gets featured on another song? My rap artist has a high reputation in pretty much every territory yet still hasn't been featured on a song in over 4 years?

Frequency is decided on how it matches criteria which is broken down in many ways. An artist will decide how many collabs it wants first. The game regulates how many releases at any one time so it could just be the game world isnt big enough. How long have you played for?

Around 3.5-4 years. I'm just kind of surprised a rap artist with huge popularity hasn't had a single feature in this time.

Yeah doesnt seem right to me ill have a look at this code. It limits how many times they can feature to spread out a bit so ill have a look at this code.

Ok thanks! Maybe, if it's possible, you could set it up so certain genres have a higher chance of being featured? Like rap artists first, hip hop second, pop third etc etc

I can tell you that my pop male artist feature in way too many songs. Just 3 months in and it already has 6 featurings.

That does exist but could be bugged so ill review.

I have this problem too

so I went to see on the charts and I realized that no one acts have been featured in the game

Check where features on solo artists and see.

 

Its being tweaked but im fixing important issues as a priority. Check the patch note for an update on this.
