I'm not sure how you managed to get 12 million but sales in the game. On my save, no artist has more than 4 million album sales

@Mark If you manage to fix this issue with albums and increase their sales, would we need to create new saves or would the old saves work?

It seems some songs on the album arent even being streamed at all (which may be the reason behind the small straming numbers)

Cardi b just had an album release in the UK and it debuted at number 2 but with only 17k sales, this is really low. Also the number 1 album has 40k sales so there are huge gaps in sales on the charts, this would be fine if the gap was say between #40 and #41 but this is a huge gap in sales between the number 1 and 2 slots

In the UK, the top selling album of the year was a soundtrack album and sold only 400k copies (which is only 1x platinum), the second best selling album only sold 200k which isnt even a platinum album. All albums after this just sell less and less copies so there is something wrong with the sales as they should be alot higer than this with some albums even getting 2x platinum etc. Same problem in USA, the top selling album of the year is selling 1 millio and then the second one is only selling 400k which isnt even platinum. It is only the first year in game so ill leave it simulated a little while longer to see if its just because its a new game but sales are really low. Ive noticed that sountrack albums are selling really well as well and are staying number 1 for weeks on end, not sure if this is a bug or they are all genuinely good sountrack albums.

Ive just noticed that when you go into band members and look at their finance you have an option to offer a solo contract. Does this mean the band breaks up or do they continue being in the band but also have a solo contract?

Also, I think the awards and their elements need a quick check over in the database. It seems some awards are in yhe wrong award shows. Cant remember off the top of my head which ones but will look tomorrow and give an update

Can you add the brit awards to the game. Ive added it to my save using to editor but everytime there is a new patch for 1.3 it just resets and I have to keep making it over and over.

What do the different databases mean? I know the bigger the size the more artists and bands etc, but what exactly changes. Fore example, does it just change the amount of randomly generated artists? Does a small database remove some of the real artistsin the real database? If so, how does it choose which ones)

In the Uk albums are getting the absolute maximum sales per week of 45k but are staying mostly in 20k or 30k. This is really low, it needs to be more like maximum 65k and staying mostly in 40k to 50k. Also this problem happens everywhere else in the world as well. I think however, that the album streams are great number so maybe just increase the amount of digital and physical sales to solve the problem above rather than messing with streaming!

When sending a band on a writing training course it causes them to go on a hiatus. This doesnt happen with solo artists so im not sure if its a bug or not. But it definnitely is annoying as im unable to do anything else with my artists while they are training.

UPDATE @MarkIve figures out the issue. The continent rep seems to be a week behind the individual country rep. As 1 simulated week after my last post the continent rep is now at 37. But the individual countries have now gone to 43 with tv promo. Then another week simulated after that, the continent rep catched up and becomes 43 but as ive been promoting on tv, the individual countries are now at 49 . So the continent rep is always a week behind.

UPDATE I did some more promotion on tv shows for another week and now each countrys individual rep is 37 but the overall continent rep is only 33

From the save I just sent. I simulated another week and had the band on 8 tv shows over 70 rep that week. and the continent reputation seems to have gone to 23 and corrected itself now but the tv show hasnt seemed to change the rep of any individual country so im not sure whats going on

As you can see in pictures 1 and 2. The reputation in all of the European countries is 23. However, it says that the reputation in Europe is only 19. This is incorrect. (please see picture 3)

Ive auditioned and created my own 5x singer group. They all have different genres when i signed them (e.g. pop, R&B, hip hop) but I made the band a pop band. Because of this, all the individual singers that are part of the band have become pop artists. Not sure if this is a bug or how its supposed to be. But It would be cool if their individual genres remain the same (even if the band/group genre is different to their individual genre) so that if the band were to break up in the future, they are all able to have solo carees in their individual genre rather than having to be the genre of the band. Please let me know if this needs explaining further

Mark has been working on this code for a while but still needs some perfecting before its released.

Or if the group member who left wasn't really a great singer (for example) it wouldn't affect the bands sales that much compared to the bands best singer leaving.

It would also be interesting if a band member leaving would have some sort of impact on the bands reputation or sales (so they sell less as the band is no longer complete)

Yeah I agree. It doesn't really make sense for bands with instruments in it (e.g drums and guitar). But it does totally make sense for singers and rappers 🙂
