Well, if it would be an option to turn it on or off or like Mark suggests that it will be implemented in a certain year that would be brilliant because then it counts for all artists.

    exactly!

especially for my 60s-90s or 80s-90s mod!

Yep, great for a pre 2000's mod 👍

I will look into adding an option to become enabled after a year date.

I would really appreciate it if you could turn off streaming services.

For example through a slider where you can determine how much of the market wants a physical copy of albums/singles.

If you could set it to 100 that would be brilliant for retro mods.

    Thanks!

Can't you do this by not selecting the streaming box when in the song/ album release section?

It would be SO cool and amazing if this game could be released on the play store.

I know it's not as easy as just 'releasing' it as I'm sure it would require a whole recode in another language possibly, but I so think it would be worth it, I honestly do think this game could be one of the best play store simulation games available.  I really hope you'll consider making a version for android.  As I think version 1.3 would be a great place to start, once that is released and done with, maybe if you took a break from working on updates, you might possibly be able to work on an android version.  I do strongly appreciate how log would it would take though to create that sort of thing, but none the less, I love the game and is one of my personal top 10.

yea it would be great ngl. and mark would be able to make some money off it through ads or in game purchases. that would be cool and game might become more popular.

    please Mark do it! :d

I think this would be really hard to do as its just @Mark working solo on this project. It took a long time to get 1.3 ready for release so I cant even begin to imagine how long it would take to get it on android or IOS with only 1 person coding 😱

I know it's not such a big deal but could you implement away where we can use special characters in song/album titles. Also, is there a way you can add the option to edit song names during the final production stage of an album/EP?

I like the idea of special characters   (+×÷= etc.) @Mark👍👍👍

    Nope. Just experience.

After the first writing session it went from 85 to 91. Then from 91 to 100.

I think that it is quite a reasonable increasing then, considering your artists stats were already high and also your artist has high learning ability. If you think about it, if your artist went up 15 points in 2 writing sessions (over 5 months), it would take a artists starting with 0 points well over 30 months (2 and a half years) at the same rate to reach 100 writing skill. Also keep in mind, you can always purchase already written songs (which with further slow down increase in stats). 😁

Not sure if it's a bug but I feel it's worth reporting.

My custom artist has 80 for learning, and started with 85 for writing.

I'm 5 months into my save and she is at 100 for writing now. I think that's really quick (even though she can learn, I know).

Did the writing increase its skill after you booked them on a writing course? Or was it via just practising writing

Hi, I'm producing a single and I'm just curious about what trend setting does for the song?

Also what do Motivation and Presence do for the song?

Hi, I'm not sure exactly how they impact the code for sales. But I do know, the higher the number rating, the better quality song will be produced (and also better charting and sales produced)

But these are the only artists that I chose in there, for example Alonzo Labbe and Alessandra Hilpert (who?) are not even in my editor so why are they in the game?

I'll pass this onto @Mark as it may be a bug. But new artists are randomly generated all the time throughout the game, so they may have just been generated upon starting the game.

Its like something needs a refresh after a label is created weirdly.

I have noticed that it only shows a certain number of labels. So for example, say there are 30 labels in the dB, this part will only let you choose from say the first 20 (this is just an example, the numbers may vary). So this is why some of the pre made and any new labels are not available for selection

You can delete them in the editor, select the artists you want and then the delete button is on the bottom left of the editor. This will delete them from the database. Then dont forget to save the database before you exit. But over time, new artists are randomly generated in the game.

yes but i dont want them in my game is there a way to kick them off? because they're not even selected in the editor

They are the artists that are in the game, they will be on different labels, they are not all on your label. Is this what you mean?

the left is just labels in general but i dont want them in my game

  12. Ive done it for you as its a little hard to explain. So download this database and add it to you files. You need to find the road to sucess folder in your files (yours may not say beta) and then the game files folder which is inside it. Save the attached database to there. (make sure you unzip it when its in the correct place). Then load the game as normal and locate the "real artist blonded" database when setting up your game (the second picture). then select the Blonded Records (as seen in third picture) you should then be able to play with all the artist you wanted.

If you want multiple, you could use the editor (which you can access via the vert starting page of the game).

When it it you can select a label (or create a new one) and assign the artists to the label. Then when in the game creator section (as above) you just select the label you have put all the artists on)

This is the editor way to get multiple artists
