Well, he debuted number 1 worldwide, selling over 1 million records. The record has a reputation of 76. So I guess it'll have staying power too. Not quite what I had in mind when I started this save but I guess this at least gives me enough money to experiment a little longer with this save. Other genres, albums without promotion, really awful albums and see how they do, etc.

I'm curious how good of an album this can become still, with such an untalented artist (recording ability 25). So I hired a good Executive Producer (88 lyrical, 100 melody, 96 commercial) and went to the best studio, and Ryan Tedd to produce some of the songs. It came back pretty good actually: 64 lyrics, 85 melody, 83 commercial. I don't have a lot of money left so if it bombs it's the end of the save. lol

Because I'm curious how this all works, which stat has what influence, I'm going to settle for mediocre songs with this fellow's first album. So I bought a few songs: Call It How I See (Pop, 35 lyrics) Hang Tough (Pop, 27 lyrics) Might Be Your Love (Pop, 94 lyrics). The first album will be a purely Pop album, just to see how it does. After the purchases I started a writing session: 20 days, excellent conditions, no vocal producers, no mixers, the best studio, just Johnny writing by himself. Before he was finished, he already had three interviews with radio stations and a collab with Carly Rae Jepsen. He also performed at a festival. And had another collab, with Lil Wayne lol. Earlier today I had a writing session of a mediocre artist (50 writing) in a great studio under excellent conditions and it produced good songs. Now I'm going to start saves with different types of customized artists to see how they do under different circumstances. First up: A bad artist with great reputation: Singer/pianist, but only 25 role ability for playing the piano. He is confident and professional, and fairly responsible, but otherwise mediocre or frankly quite a bad musician. His current ability and potential ability is 25. His reputation is 75 everywhere except in the USA where it's 100. First thing I see after I started the game is that he has already featured in a collaboration. Must be the reputation. lol

jão today at 18:13 guys, by tomorrow afternoon I'll release the google drive paste with the images of the 407 artists available in the mod real artists. I'm thinking of pre-releasing my celebrities add-on as well. Let me know if you want it and if you know how to import one database into another.

I'm afraid I did all that, Mark. That's why I'm asking the community if they have the same issue.

Still #1 and still 3 songs in the top 10. That album track is holding up surprisingly well. And back to #1 on the album charts: Madonna, Katy Perry and Britney Spears all releasing their albums on the same day! The album has sold 9,7 million copies so far, in 10 weeks.

This is 17 months into the save. Thanks for your attention and help and solutions.

Another #1 hit (I've lost count tbh, the seventh?). And three songs in the top 10. Absolutely beautiful. Albums: Down to #2 still with a respectable 350k units sold.

I had a recent save. Phew. New single is released today. Albums: Still #1! Total sales at over 8 million now. Making it her best selling album.

Hitting cancel didn't work either. I didn't lose much. I had it saved 3 days before. Couldn't replicate the problem. Meaning it saved on the same day the second try. Just figured I'd report it. Thanks.

Delicious was nominated for a Billboard Music Award. She didn't win it. There Is No Arizona still in the top 10. Epic. Albums: 7,152,000 copies sold in 7 weeks time.

I'm going to release a new single. Album chart: 6,341,000 copies sold so far. It seems the sales have peaked now though. Next single: I Will Remember You (97 lyrics 100 melody 100 commercial). I expect a lot from it. It's a dance track.

Time for a new single? Albums: Back to #1. 5,500,000 copies sold already.

Down to #2. Album dropped to #2 too, despite good sales. It is still going strong: 4,450,000 copies sold in 4 weeks. For comparison her first album sold 7,571,279 copies. It charted very long.

Ha, back to #1. And the album is still #1 too. 3,366,000 copies sold in 3 weeks. Going excellent. I'm making a lot of money off it. Almost up to $200 million now.

Down to #4 again. The album is still #1: Almost 470,000 copies sold. Worldwide 1,1 million copies sold. 2,291,500 copies sold in total (2 weeks).

Dropped to #4 in week 2. Happy I have that #1 under my belt. Now the album releases. I'm excited. First let's look at the singles chart: Wow back to number 1 and a track from the album charts at #6! That must mean the album is doing well doesn't it? Let's find out: #1 in France, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands... Now the big one: Almost 500,000 copies sold in week 1. Aaaahhh.. Worldwide 1,175,437 sold.

He wrote 9 songs in 20 days. 95 is the highest rated.

So far the results of his writing session: So 75 is pretty good... But I'm not showing up on the Leaderboard that kind of takes the fun out of this save for me.

I think I hadn't turned it on. Good thing too, because that allows me to make a different profile. I can't edit the first post, so here's the restart: I play on normal this time. Only got 2 million! I went with a Canadian this time. Male. His name is Jordan Frontrunner (I named him after myself 🙂) 20 years old, 75 for everything except rebelliousness, greed and egotism. He is a singer/rapper/guitarist (75 for rapping and playing guitar). His rep is 1 everywhere. Obviously let's see if there are some good songs for sale. I bought 3 songs (all cheap). A 90 rated hip hop song. An 86 rated Rap song, and a 95 rated pop song. And started a writing session. And hired some staff.
