For anybody who wonders what happened to that save: Here we continue with a new save. I'm making a 90s db but I want to test how it goes. First up: Guns N Roses I have to test how they would do with their skills and reputation. I'm also testing whether or not the putting on hiatus works if you make a retro mod.

I'm waiting for the bug be resolved before picking this one up. I'll be doing a new test save soon in my other thread.

Hi Mark. Not a bug but I feel you read the bugs threads more than you do the suggestions right now. (I could be wrong, my apologies) Could you make the genre names editable please? It would be great to replace Reggaeton with Grunge and some other things, like I could have Jazz instead of JPop or whatever. Thanks.

What I mean is this: My suggestion is this: could you add a filter to it, so that you can filter it by genre. Also would be nice if you could sort them by lyrical rating. Thanks!

I started a new save again. It's still as if they can't write simultaneously. First the first report comes in, then he is finished, then the second starts and gets reported on, and finishes, and the third one is reported on. I'm on March the 2nd now. I made sure to send them all to different studios this time. Thanks.

Hmm. Jennifer Hudson's writer came back 12 February with 19 songs.

So I restarted the same save on level Normal to see if it would make a difference but it didn't. I'm starting to think it has to do with sending them all to the same studio. The order in which they finish writing is the same as the order on my screen. I.e. the first one I sent on a writing session finished first, the second finished second, and so forth.

Screw playing on hard and 20 day writing sessions that take over 120 days. So I restarted on Normal. I started with sending all on writing sessions again. Some on mixing sessions (to see what it does). The same thing happened. I'm starting to think it's because I sent them all to the same studio.

I'm letting Anouk produce an album. The vocal producers available are all shitty: So I'm not hiring one.

The writing sessions take extremely long. Bruno Mars was done after 21 days or so. Jennifer Hudson after 61 days. It is now March 23rd in the game and Anouk just finished her writing session. That's 81 days. She wrote 16 songs though!

I started a new save. Start date 1/1/2021. Level Hard. I play as an existing label with 12 artists. I sent all of them on writing/mixing sessions on Day 1. It is now March 3 (so 61 days later) and the second of those twelve writing sessions has just finished. So 10 of them are still writing. I wonder if it is a bug or because this is level Hard. Thanks. I'll update a bit later how long the sessions actually were when they are all finished.

It's 8 February on the game and only Bruno Mars has returned from his writing session (he wrote some bangers). I wonder if it's a bug or because I am playing on level hard. Writing sessions are supposed to last 20 days it's been like 38 days now since they started.

I love playing with multiple artists but it is a lot of work. Sent them all on 20 day writing sessions except the DJ. He's mixing. Hired 5 excellent staff for every department and optimized the working conditions in the office.

These are her abilities: So she is professional and cute, patient and charismatic and responsible. But she isn't great at making music. And she starts with 1 reputation everywhere. I would like to add a band but I'm too lazy for to create like four people plus a band profile for it so I'm going to stick with solo artists. But let's do a rocker: Jason Jones (Rock/Pop Rock): Singer/Guitarist, born in Indianapolis, 34 years old. 50 reputation in USA, 35 in European countries and Canada, 20 in the rest. Here's his profile: So he's really a good musician. And then a DJ: D.J. Jurgen (Techno/Drum & Bass, EDM): DJ, born in Bremen, Germany, 19 years old. Starts with 1 reputation everywhere. Hozier (Indie): Low reputation mostly everywhere. Jennifer Hudson (R&B, Soul, Pop): Great recording and live ability! Decent rep in the UK and Africa and Australia, but only 13 in the USA. Bruno Mars (R&B/Pop): Anouk (Indie): Dutch singer, 45 years old, kind of alternative. Very famous in Holland and Belgium (also here in the game), not much outside of it. Danny Vera (Country/Rock/Blues) but blues isn't in the game... Reputation of 60 in the Netherlands, 25 in Belgium, 20 in Germany, 1 elsewhere.
