About singles chart run, I also noticed that (unless it's very high in ratings/rap) there is some kind of "breaking point" after the first three weeks. Like after three weeks a single that was doing decent suffers a significant drop in sales that affects its longevity and overall sales...This is mostly with low rep. For example: a young artist with a high rated singles manage to debut and sell decent, but in the end the single barely scratch the 500k copies sold because sales drops drastically after three weeks

Yes, it works! You just have to name the pic file the same way your auditioned artist is named and it will show up on your artist profile even if the game is open! You can also change pictures by replacing them in the folder but the game must be closed otherwise Windows won’t allow the file change since it’s being used in that very moment

Just simmed another week and it fell from #1 to the bottom of the charts, or even out! thing like this can happen in reality, but once again I wanted to be sure if everything is right this way or if this is kinda because of a bug

HI @Mark, I am not sure this is a bug the one I am about to talk. Among my artists there is one called Pink Sweat, her recent single "Without me", in spite of high stats debuted at #62 in the US singles chart, I supposed it was a rando "flop"...it did decent on other country but it kinda flopped worldwide in its second week. In the third week it kinda rebounded and startef smashing everywhere...I'm sending you the save so you could see how it was charting at #150 the week after and jumped at #1 right after! I am not sure it's a bug, just wanted to check it something happened or if it's "normal" SavedGame.db SavedGame.r2s

Hi @Mark, I hope I'm doing this in the right section, anyway..it just happened to me that my artist's manager (we are talking about Dua Lipa) sent an email about the artist taking a year off and so going on hiatus. This never happened to me and I think it's a really cool feature! I wanted to ask a thing tho. I had an album ready for release, and I tried to release it (without releasing it in the end) and I was wondering if it's right that I am able to do this or if it should been completely blocked as an option. I mean, it could also make sense if a record that it's ready to go is released by the label without any support from the artist that is on hiatus (no videos, no performances etc.). Right now I will not release the record because I like this forced thing, and I'll wait until the hiatus end! This is cool

Yes, also because most of the times the strongest week it's the first one, from that one it's either stability or falling..there's not a proper chart run

About album tracks charting, I also noticed that if I release one of them as a single later the chart history in terms of charting positions only shows the one scored since the single release. Meaning: if a song from the album charts at #10 (for example), when it's released as a single and in that format only charts (for example) at #23, on the charting history or in the single details page it says that it peaked at #23, and not at #10. Also, getting certifications and better sales it's very easy with songs that charts very well as album tracks before their release as a single, while singles released before the album (the one actually pushed) struggle to reach does numbers and don't get the same benefit from the album release streams

Actually that issue didn't happen anymore! I tried with a band and it did not disappear, now I can't sign any solo artist so I don't know! The fact that others had the same issue makes me think that it's not connected tho

In my current game, looking at the US albums chart, albums from #44 are selling less than 1000 copies, it's mostly very old albums charting for at least 10/15 weeks (one is also at 38 weeks). Considering their quality and their age I think it's pretty fair how low they are selling, the fact is that this is affecting the whole chart..making it look very weak and allowing very bad albums to chart very high with very low sales. Also, gaps sometimes are really huge...for example first two albums charting are selling around 60k copies after three weeks (and it's ok), the #3 is at 28k. The only new entry at #6, it's with an average of 60 points in all metrics by an artist with a 28 points rep, and it's charting with 11k copies. Looking at the albums release schedule only 4 new albums are coming in the next 2 weeks (upcoming singles are much more), so basically there will be not enough competition or new entries to make it look a little bit ore changelling. Numbers change week by week, but this situation is kinda standard. I think there is not enough albums being released and that the ones being released are not good enough most of the times. Not that I want to see new albums charting high every week, I mean..longevity is a thing that should exist, but with different standards in numbers. Please @Mark this is kinda hard to explaing with my rotten english so please forgive me if it's not clear enough..

Anyway, this kinda goes up and now. It's like there are a few weeks with enough releases to make it a bit more challenging, but most of the times there really is no competition and you end up seeing bad albums selling (fairly) very low but charting at like...#20? It's not really about the numbers but about the number of releases pulling those numbers, in order to have more albums selling, less or more, the same amount of copies making it look a little bit more realistic.

Let me add something Mark, this is also connected to the disappearing artist thing..When you sent me the new .exe I probably applied it to an already existing save from the previous version and yesterday, when I auditioned a new artist, the issue occured again. Now I started a new game completely from the test .exe you sent me. Could this mean something?

Hi @Mark, I'm your nightmare. I started a new game, with a medium size database from the realartists one. When I want to sign a new artist as a solo, the button doesn't work, the create group function works instead! Yes, two artists both auditioned. What's weird is that this didn't happen anymore. It took my by surprise this time, also...if you look at the us albums chart, I swear it's not the one I left when I closed the game! And yeah, no errorlog

Hi Mark, this happened again! But this time it's weird. I saved the game, I went back to it tonight and not only both of my artists disappareade but the albums chart (the US one I saw) are all messed up! When I saved the album from my artist Lyah was on #1 and now it's charting in the 60s regions with a lot of albums with crazy numbers above it..Also, aren't the files in the save folder 3? I only have two now: SavedGame.db SavedGame.r2s
