If your game is set for nowadays, the 60k average for number 1 is no longer true in the UK. Album sales are very low.

These are the sales figures for last week's top 10.

I don't think they should. From RIAA guidelines: "Certification count begins at the track’s release date", so before it's released as a single the streams shouldn't count except for the album units and the non-single track. After its release, every track or video stream of the single (including the album version) is merged into the single release so further streams from the album track count towards the single.

What doesn't makes much sense is that releasing a track as a single makes it actually sell less units, promotion associated to the single release should make it sell quite a lot.

That's not true, it worked this way when we used to be on the digital era, now that we live in the stream era all tracks are being certified

See exile by Taylor Swift, isn't a single, but it's gold certified on the USA

  3. Taylor Swift announces his return to the streaming platforms, along with a new single: "I Don't Wanna Live Forever", with ZAYN.

Taylor Swift Brasil – 1989: Novas entrevistas para rádio e TV

Taking everyone by surprise, Taylor Swift announced on her Instagram that he will be returning his discography to the streaming platforms. The fact is due to an extensive negotiation, where the singer guaranteed a fair payment, by Spotify, for new artists. In addition, she also announced that she will be releasing a new single: "I Don't Wanna Live Forever", part of the soundtrack for the movie "50 Shades Darker"

The new added features on Beta are brilliant. 1 in particular I love using. Also another which is going to be available in the next patch I believe mark said. 1.3 is a really good update from 1.2 😁

can we choose the super bowl setlist fr?

Just an update for you guys 👍

Beta testing is going really well, Mark is fixing so many bugs and the beta is really starting to come together. The issue with sales figures is getting alot better as well. Each patch release comes with less and less bugs to report. So looking promising 😀

    omg thank u 😆😆😅

Cool! Are you planning to do more??

lol it would be interesting to do folklore and evermore. and maybe her rereleases but idk how that would work

yep, I'm waiting for the 1.3, cause the reputation era started on the stream era

I've been playing with Taylor on the game lol it's been fun but quite odd when some of her biggest hits in real life became flops on the game and viceversa. I think Ours is her biggest hit on my game lol, meanwhile Shake it off peaked at 10 on the US haha.

when I want a underperforming single, I don't release physics, I invest in radio stations and only make it available on iTunes

that way I managed to make real life hits giants, and not be eclipsed by singles that didn't perform as well
