Sub labels wont come in 1.2 but they will be coming to the game in the future.

I am looking in a test build what I can figure out to do about the reordering of stock, ill come back to you on this. As for randomly generated artists, this is a tricky part but has a lot of complexity already attached to it. Its being modified in 1.2 and I cannot see me changing this in 1.1 really due to the work involved and 1.2 is all new code.

I see festivals being reworked completely to be honest. I can add more but its a bit of a task so I would prefer to change it completely as now the purpose is just increasing reputation etc but I would like to make it so much more.

I can add more awards or festivals, if you have some you can tell me a site for details ill look into it. Not for 1.2 but this area needs reworking on how it is now. I am not sure about this feature in music wars you talk about as I dont play that game. Not quiet due to space restrictions but it is now different. No not at this stage however I am looking at airplay and how I can bring it into the game but it wont make 1.2. Charts at the moment are purely down to sales or videos tbc as I am yet to get to that bit.

I have to be careful with awards and festivals because if I add too many it will slow the game down and will affect other areas of the game as reputations get influenced. Maybe ill add some new ones in the new databse though. If you have any suggestions then let me know along with a website about the festival or award.

You know im glad I reread this as I completely missed what you was asking for. I'll put it down to being unwell...anyway enough excuses. I think this is a good idea ill add to my todo list. In respect to your marketing department ordering more stock.

Thanks for the feedback its obviously useful for me. I am currently at this stage in the 1.2 development and am considering ways around making it such a long process. Its possible for me to make it automated but I am also changing the way you do it manually. The big difference is there is now around 130 countries instead of 4 regions so to make it simplier is one hell of a task. I'll do my best to make it better hopefully you will be happy with the results. When I release the alpha to a select group ill ask them to give opinions on this area and am more than willing to change it to suit the players requirements. As for a donation. If you arent enjoying a part of the game then I am not doing a good enough job for one. Ive never accepted a donation simply because its not required. As it stands all I want is people to play and enjoy it for free, its a hobby of mine outside the stress of work. So thanks for feedback and if you have more then let me know im interested to read it.

I love music, why else would I make this game right? I ALWAYS listen to music as I make the game, my mood determines the style of music. But what I can say I like is. Electronic, be it Trance, dance etc etc Pop Hip-Hop R&B Rap Im open to other genres but these days not so much rock. I dont mind music thats not in English, I have loved many a song that isnt. Use the Youtube tag to recommend songs or you can link me to your google music playlist as I use this to listen to music on pc or mobile these days. So let me know whats new and good, im always after new playlists and share with others.

All complete valid points raised 100% agree. I have a few things in mind to implement some of this. I'll be copying this post to my dev section to make sure I look much more at this.

Sad it upsets you so much but if editing your own database is not enough for you to control your own game I cannot do anymore. I wont get involved in politics however I am going to change it to Republic of.

Is so rare coding it in right now would cause significant problems without me cheating the system. If this becomes more common ill certainly add it and may even do so but not in 1.2

Not sure what this means? Im sure I can add this. Good Idea, ill note this down. Tours hasnt been coded in 1.2 yet but is a 100% rewrite so as I said ill note this one as good idea. Not totally sure what you mean. The idea with the new interface being used was to allow more data but I wont deny it actually in a way has added more clicking but until in Beta will be hard for me to know if its not good, I dont think its a problem. Drop down menu's mean I can add quicker access to direct information. Good Idea another ill note down. Artists are likely to be more successful in their local region with the introduction of individual countries.

This can happen now technically, each song can have a seperate producer. Schedules are being updated. This part of the game sucks, but wont be heavily updated in 1.2. Magazines will come into the game, to what full extent will be revealed later.

I am in the process of completing the album creation screens at the moment so ill bare this in mind. Greatest hits, remixed albums, live albums etc will be handled somewhere else and will come shortly. I am keeping quiet on details so I have plenty to tease with before release, such as youtube videos etc as I want to promote this version harder than ever before. EP's however im still convinced wont get in this version, I find them a luxury feature at the moment , but thats not to say they wont come at some point. Jury is still out there for me. EP's have not been confirmed for 1.2. As for double disc albums, at the moment the game has a built in limit still but I can work a change to this if required. I dont think right now the feature is top of my list again but I can consider it, but ill do so once the core new release details are running well.

You guys have certainly gone all out on the lists. The plan is soon I will work on a large database update. I have been waiting on a lockdown on some things before doing so. Once that is done and editor is stable enough ill be able to add continiously over a week to build a very large databsae. In fact going off of these lists you might find the first database completely full of real artists, could be interesting!

The only time I have decided on removing something for that sort of reason was removing the Falklands even though I am British. I will keep the official country title opposed to the UN title for now and you can edit this as you wish in the editor as you can change countries here.

Spice girls wont be coming to the game unless they come back. The databse with the game will only contain current artists.
