You guys have certainly gone all out on the lists.

 

The plan is soon I will work on a large database update. I have been waiting on a lockdown on some things before doing so. Once that is done and editor is stable enough ill be able to add continiously over a week to build a very large databsae. In fact going off of these lists you might find the first database completely full of real artists, could be interesting!

I miss:

Faith No More (band, Alternative metal, experimental rock, funk metal)

 

 

 

Now little puzzle:

 

The Raconteurs (band, Indie rock, garage rock, power pop, blues rock)

- they are not dissolved, but are not active as group - should they be included?

 

The Dead Weather (band, Blues rock, garage rock, psychedelic rock, alternative rock)

- active, got out record in September 2015

 

Jack White (solo, Rock, alternative rock, garage rock, blues rock, folk rock, blues, punk blues, country)

- he is part of The Racounteurs, but now active as solo, I saw him this year (2015)

- he WAS part of The White Stripes, but they dissolved - they are not a band anymore, should they be included?

- he is also part of The Dead Weather

 

 

 

Do you want to make the game starting date friendly, e.g. start in 1990 when Nirvana was around (and maybe White Stripes forming in 1999 - that could be really interesting, if state of game could mimic real events), or do you want actual state, that is White Stripes should not be available anymore, White as solo artist etc.

 

If you would like any help with the database filling (even with setting dates of birth or band formation), I'm volunteering.

I think that there are many greats listed here that would be cool in the new version. But there's also a few huge selling bands and legends that are still not listed for ideas even, here's a few and then a few other artists too.

 

Queen (So shocked that they haven't been listed! And yes they're a still functioning and touring band, yes i know without Fred there is not the same but still)

With the huge database changes ive had to scrap the current list of artists and bands to redo it.

I'me made a list of artists and celebrities from Australia and New Zealand, just to give the Oceania region a bit more flavour :)
