 (born October 21, 1995), known professionally as Doja Cat is an American singer, rapper, songwriter and record producer. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she began making and releasing music on Soundcloud  as a teenager.

Doja Cat has been making music since she was 13 and for over a decade. She later got her stardom on SoundCloud. While she had no money she had an idea to make music. Doja Cat has taken influences to Nicki Minaj and many rappers and R&B singers. Doja is a singer, songwriter, and professionally counted as a female rapper.

Doja Cat stardom began when she started picking type beats and started rapping and singing on them. She naturally wrote her raps and naturally became a talented lyricist and vocalist. It was later that Doja released a single from her EP “Purrrr” called So High that over 500,000 users on SoundCloud would know of her name surprisingly this inspired to make music even though the song didn’t have a major impact on the Billboard Hot 100 or Rhythmic charts, nor the Bubbling Under. After So High was released Doja released her somewhat anticipated EP “Purrrr”
