  1. The one where I click on charts and then 'European year end charts and then it tells me. It still is only selecting certain songs to chart even when some are selling more
  2. I think for easy, maybe it should be like the year end report, wherer you select the year and the country and it tells you the charts rather than it being an actual chart. As for some reason the chart is just inaccurate, i have a song with 270k sale sin the uk and it didnt go in the charts even tho lower sales are in there. Needs looking at
  3. Currently, when you have CD stock in a continent, its just gets distrubuted by using the list of countries from top to bottom. So, for example, in europe, Germany is listed first, then france then the UK. So if i only have 10,000 sales, they will be sold in germany first, then whaevers left will be sold in france then in UK and so on. But this often means that countries listed last never get to have cd sales (unless you buy far to many CD so you have excess for each country). My artists rep in europe is less than 20 , but their rep in uk is over 80. But as ive only bought 20,000 CDs, there all sold in france and germany so they never sell in UK (unless i buy excess). It should sell first in countries where the artists rep is higher rather than just from top to bottom in the list
  4. When choosing to release a physical copy of a song/album. I have to sell copies everywhere. I only want to sell copies in Europe, Australia and North America but it makes me sell copies in every continent or wont let me move on in the release section
  5. I agree that maybe suicide shouldn't be introduced (I only included it in my previous post as someone had previously mentioned it). But I do think that natural death should occur when an artist gets older rather than just retiring from music. For example, aretha franklin said in an interview that she would never retired and always keep releasing music. And I think this is the same for many other artists, so retiring just doesn't seem right or fit and sort of feels like an unclosed ending. But maybe it's just peoples different views on death, some people are fine with talking about it and others find it uncomfortable to even think of it. In my opinion, I think it should be in the game, it doesn't have to be grim or upsetting, but just to act as an ending to an artists career and perhaps create some unique gameplay such as memorial greatest hits albums and things like that. 😊
  6. I'm open to a little more difficultly but not to restricting the players gameplay 😄
  7. Something like this, yes. So when your on the page where you select the continents your releasing on, they could have a number in brackets next to it, which shows the cost. I just think that this would still allow players to release worldwide from the get go, but also can be a bit of a challenge and adds some gameplay when your low on money. Maybe a £50,000 price would be best but open to suggestions for this number 😁
  8. With unlocking things in game, it just takes away that freedom for players to do whatever they want and makes the game more of a goal based game (rather than a freestyle music simulator) 😀
  9. I think with this one-off high payment, it prevents people from immediately jumping into worldwide sales especially at £1 million (which some players like to do straight away). Whereas with a small 'legal fee' (or something similar) each time, it would be better as it allows players to immediately play international but also adds the challenge of managing their monely and artists. What im suggesting isn't really a license, its more of legal fees/general fees for releasing worldwide
  10. Good suggestion, but I think doing it on song rating isn't that realistic as in reality that's not how it works. As for unlocking other continents when getting higher sales: I think this is a bit problematic for people who just want to jump straight into releasing worldwide. I think paying for the "license" (or something in this form) each time for a single or album would be a better idea as this allows people to still immediately release worldwide if they wanted (but it just costs them more and adds a little challenge) 🙂
  11. Yes, I have noticed this. When I release albums, the sales seem to be high. But when the game automatically releases albums, they seem to be very low sales with the occasional good album getting normal sales. So I think there is just a lack of artists releasing great albums (or the code for deciding what a great album is, is too harsh)
  12. Im not sure if this is a bug but its definitely not right 🤣 Currently there is nothing in the game that prevents tours overlapping, so I can start 20+ 50 date tours all at the same time and the dates would all overlap.
  13. Perhaps for something like depression, it could just be brought on if their happiness stats get below 25. Addictions could be based on the rebellion stats and happiness stats. For example, if happiness is below 50 and rebellion above 50 the the artist starts an addiction. As for death/suicide. Older artists should die rather than retire (in my opinion) as its something that happens to everyone and we shouldn't shy away from it 🙂 As for suicide, this could maybe happen when your artist has had 0 happiness for x number of months. In all instances there should be an option to help the artist. For example, a rehab facility, therapy/therapist, time away from career to relax. There could even be some events that occur that cause the record label to react. A new stat could even be introduced to the artist section called "Stress" this would be different to happiness and would show how overworked an artist is. This may increase and get worse if your artist has been on tour after tour after tour all year as well as being in the studio and filming music videos. This new stat would affect the other stats if it gets to a certain level. **Just another feature I think would be cool: If an artist is addicted to something (more particularly smoking anything), it would be cool if this decreased their singing live and studio stats over time. I understand some people won't want to play with these game features, but I'm sure other will. So maybe it would be an option to add a "tick box" to the game creation window to enable or disable these features.
  14. So I think there should be a fee for all sales platforms. I'm not saying a super high price or anything but just something that requires me (the player) to judge whether its worth selling abroad (adds a little challenge to the game where currently there isnt any). As currently, if I release a song in Europe (the artist and labels home continents) and it doesn't chart high or make a profit, I can simply release everywhere else in the world and although it won't chart there either, it makes enough sales to make a profit (which is sort of a "cheat" or easy way to always make a profit). So adding a fee to release in other continents (like paying a licence fee to release a song there) would mean that you would no longer be able to release everywhere to get an easy profit (as there are additional costs to releasing everywhere). Instead the player has to make different in-game decisions (for example, promote the artist more, get a loan, drop the artist etc.) It adds some more challenge to the game 🙂 😃
  15. To add some sort of challenge to releaseing worldwide
  16. Currently, when you have a brand new artist with no rep, you can just release a single/album in every continent in the world (doing this helps accumulate more sales than just releasing in one continent). In reality, record labels wont release in certain continients where the artist doesnt have much rep as the cost of releasing there outweigh the sales. But it would be cool if in the game, when you select your continents, it had price attatched to it (for example, £50,000 legal fees for releasing in that continent). This would mean the player would have to decide whether its worth releasing a single or album in a continient where the artist has no rep rather than it just being free to release anywhere in the world.
  17. I dont have a clue what ive just done but its seems to be working now and ive got my artist back. HAHAH 🙂 Thanks for the save @Mark
  18. @Mark It just shows as this, and the database is blank
  19. Im really having some trouble sorting this out. Ive downloaded it and i have file above: When i unzip it I have the following files: (the arrows below mean whats inside that file) 1536620391_StartSave1 (Folder)-> Start Save 1 (Folder) -> Save Game (Database File) & SavedGame (R2S) I then copy the folder "Start Save 1" (as the 15366.. etc file isnt important is it?) Then i paste this into the road to sucess game save folder But then when i load the save in game, there are no artists in the database and eveything is blank? So am i doing somthing wrong?
  20. It might be me dowloading it wrong, but when i open the game save, there still isnt the solo artist in my label?
