Hi everyone. Ive not been very active of late due to a new job that is dominating my lifeand I have a pretty crap personal problem as well which is really affecting me so its a very tricky time. I therefore ask you to bear with me as its a really hard time and the game is just not my priority. Thanks Mark **** Update *** I am still super super busy at the moment and the time not spent on the game has been a real help but I plan to be back with some patches very soon.

I think one thing that should be added is songs that don’t chart at all. I have yet to have a single that hasn’t charted in the top 5 of any country. i feel like sometimes songs just flop and don’t do well, which adds a lot of depth to the game in my opinion and makes it harder (and more realistic). also like my very first debut single where i had little followers and no reputation, still debuted at 2 worldwide and 3 in the usa. i just feel like that’s not right because most artists are unknown and unless they get super lucky, there first single probably won’t be a hit. another thing i think would be cool to add is making artists that only do moderately well. in the game as of now, if you put in a lot of money to an artist, they are basically guaranteed a number 1 hit at some point in their career. they will probably have many. it would be nice to see that you could put money into artists but that doesn’t guarantee success. like sometimes maybe they only chart for one week or not at all, or there highest peaking single ever is in the mid 30s or 40s. hopefully this makes sense and sorry for any typos! i also just want to say that i’m obsessed with this game and it’s the most realistic one out there. i appreciate your hard work!

Its so close trust me im just ironing out some sales issues I introduced a couple of days ago but those changes were the last touch on sales number so once tweaked ok ill need to add two things and its done.

A lot of work has been put into the new sales code and testing we're doing will hopefully get this sort of thing into a better state. Essentially concept is if the song is brilliant then it should stand a chance however will suffer from lesser longlivity where as high rep artists will benefit with a good song lasting longer.

For those who have followed the game and have read posts from me in the past would know im a huge MitiS fan. So many good memories against his music for me, some way too personal to post. He has a new album out, you should check it out. One of the tracks is one he made over a number of twitch streams its so good.

To be optimistic, I would say either this week or next, but obviously this depends on if any major bugs are discovered in the next few days. But so far, looking good (but this is for @Mark to decide). When @Marksaid soon, he really did mean soon 🤣 Your all going to love the new changes!!!

i posted on facebook about this. I am currently considering a full release or beta. If I go public I might as well go full release depending on if any lingering issues that I feel need to be fixed in a beta just open to everything.

Multi-continent web shows to promote your artist, these includes popular ones on YouTube like NPR Music otherwise known for their Tiny Desk Concert series, Genius known for their 'Verified' and 'Open Mic' series or First We Feast that are known for their 'Hot Ones' series.

Christmas tracks will be back and I hope they will still make this release. Most of the code is already there with a Christmas song database too.

We see it a lot more nowadays when an artist either concludes a tour or they're still currently on one but then they suddenly start to blow up and their management sees this as the perfect opportunity to maximize profit and they decide to add more dates to their most recent tour. Yes, you can sorta already do this by scheduling a new separate tour and roleplaying it as an extension but wouldn't it be nicer if there was an ''Extend Tour'' button for the original tours without having to schedule another one?

I think this have been mentioned before, but I don't remember when clearly. It would be great if we can set singles/albums for seasonal release. For eg: releasing Christmas music during the 4th quarter of the year. And during this period, only Christmas music dominates the charts like in the current world. Obviously, this might take a lot of work (or not) but I would love to see this happening in future updates.

2016: Starting her career in the band "CHAMAKAY" back in 2016, the band was a success, their debut EP titled "CHAMAKAY" peaking at 6 on the worldwide charts 2016 was a great year! 2017: In 2017 CHAMAKAY released "Pang" their debut album with the single "So Hot You're Hurting My Feelings" being their 1st number 1 on the worldwide charts, which would leave "Pang" with a series of award nominations (only winning 1) they decided to start working on their 2nd studio album labeling it "fun & mature" 2018: In 2018 CHAMAKAY released their second studio album, along with a number 2 single on the worldwide charts, and a number 2 debut, however the album was not labeled a "flop" because they did decide to release the same date as Camila Cabello's album "Romance" came and Charli XCX's "Charli" (the highest selling albums of that year) Caroline decided to leave the band. Announcing it by taking to Instagram "I have decided that the best thing for me to do right now is take a small break from CHAMAKAY, however I will be back" she also revealed this break would be to focus on her personal life and she won't be releasing any music 2019: in 2019 it was revealed that Caroline Polachek would leave the band "CHAMAKAY" and not return, CHAMAKAY fans were split in half some decided to keep supporting the band without Caroline others deciding to see what Caroline has to offer 2020: It was revealed Caroline was planning to debut as a solo artist this year, however it got postponed by a year while she was announced to be working on her book "The Past, The Present and The Future" to be released later that year, she went on a series of shows to promote her book along with creating hype for her first release! 2021: 2021 was NOT a good year for Caroline, while announcing her first tour "The Intro" filled with covers, she then got some very personal news that led her to cancel the North American tour, as she revealed she will be "taking time off" 2024: after a 3 year break Caroline came back to announce her debut album was finished... being written. This was a HUGE let down for her fans knowing that nothing would be coming until earliest next year. 2025: COMING SOON

I was playing the new version, and Instagram followers grows really slow. Many artists gain more than 50,000 followers a day in real life, which would be more than 300,000/week, so it would be very interesting for the growth to be greater, especially with the release of music, promoting on tv shows, touring, and with the hype and reputation of the artist at 100 it should give more followers per week. Also some features like "Post a tweet, post on Instagram" (just a button, we don't really need to say the content) that would give a little bit of buzz and great change on the followers numbers and reputation. And the last thing: when I promote something on TV I can't see a direct sales/streaming effect, so it should be great having a more direct impact, so we could give a single longevity.

There could be stream playlists (especially Spotify with Today's Top Hits) that the label could pay to head it (higher position: more expensive and greater effect on the charts). If the music were "lower quality" the effect would be less. Another thing that would be nice: network marketing any week of the single or album, because having only buzz on the debut is very rhetorical, having control of the music's performance is what matters most. It’s unrealistic to go on so many shows around the world in one week.

It would be nice if the nominations were declared a week or so before the ceremony, so that you know whether or not you want to attend the ceremony.

Your artist can collab with others as they wish. Now it was brougt up to change this and I have two items I plan to add soon. 1. This one 2. Christmas releases.

It would be cool to have artist sign bad contracts, and they do not make a lot of money, and also it would be a nice addition for their managers to steal millions from them and then they go broke/bankrupt and it becomes news on the game. Ex: Toni Braxton, TLC, En Vogue etc...

Letting more than one producer produce a song, either their stats are combined in a balance way or there's a boost/efficiency stat that aids the production process which determines the overall quality of the song.

You can release a single only physically if you don't send the song to digital platforms!!! And you can release a single only digitally, putting the physical copies at 1

Songs cant freefall fast all the time -Has the highest impressions out of any format ex at least up to 80M Adult Contemporary -Only ballads chart on this format -Audience impressions can go as high as to 50M R&B/Hip Hop Airplay -Rap, R&B, and Hip Hop Panel impressions can go up to 40M-50M Rhythmic Top 40 - Dance, Pop, mainly Hip Hop, Rap and R&B songs chart Radio Songs -Combines all audience impressions of every format -Calculated into the chart positions on the official charts -All time artist list showing culmative impressions -All time song/Year/decade end list showing songs with most audience impressions for that year/all time/decade -Stability Overall: -Songs positions are ranked on spins -End of year/decade/all time report shows most played songs of that format -Stability, songs can spend many weeks at #1 -You can use payola or pay radio stations to spin your songs more -Songs debut towards the bottom -There is a all time artist list based on collective spins

I think albums and songs should have a theme like love, sex, or heartbreak etc. I also believe we should have special circumstance albums for example I would love to be able to make a Christmas album like Mariah's "Merry Christmas" album

Someone as probably said this before. But i think that artist and the label should be able to decide whether or not they want to do the features and it not just happening randomly. Adele never does features but in the game she’s the most featured artist in several of my saves! All I’m Saying is that we should be able to reject requests to feature on someone’s album and other AI controlled artistes should be able to do the same. And for the festivals, we should also accept and reject requests!

Yes. The charts for countries like China, India, South Korea, Japan etc. should consist mainly of music from their local artists. Only the most successful international artists should be able to reach the top 10 or even top 5 in these countries.

Good ideas. To be honest with you I dont like how Touring is it does need a rework.

you can only re-release with at least 5 songs from the original album, but all songs on the original album appear as non-original.

As I accept the release will likely still need tweaking when released it will come soon. I have to do a real horrible task this weekend to move servers due to the crap about centos so once thats done I can get a move on. This weekend should see certain loose ends sorted.

I think the sales figures are really important to get right before allowing everyone to play as currently sales are sometimes causing songs to be number 1 consecutively for over 1 year in some countries (thats 52 weeks!!). So playing it at the moment is still a little frustrating. So I think its much better to get this right before others play 😃 But, Mark is working really hard and is constantly fixing lots of bugs and issues everyday and is putting in so much hard work to get this completed. So I'm sure it will be ready soon but more importantly I'm sure Mark will release it whenever he feels it ready for eveyone! 😃

I can't wait for the whole new group part feature. What would be great is if one of the band members aren't enjoying being in a band and come forward to request a solo deal from you. Also for the likes of a member leaving. You can recruit for find another member to join that band. i.e the sugababes. They had more new members than SCS sale. If that does happen then it could make the news like a new band member as started etc. 🙂

I think it would be good to see more of the fan base like: • Name of the Fanbase • How strong they are (if the Artist is more popular, the fanbase is stronger) (maybe let the fanbase attack another artist) • If your Artist didn’t release any new content since [...] Years, you should be able to see if there are many fans waiting for new content or not. if a lot of fans are waiting for new content The Album/Single will chart better

Im contemplating a full beta release but not just yet. Work has been insanely busy im afraid it has really hampered me.

Just softly bumping this question. 🙂 I realize that all of you are still in beta 1.3 and that life is moving along. I just was looking to see if there was any kind of optimistic release for 1.3? No hard-date is needed. Just something like, a week, around Christmas, January. A pre-answer thank you. 🙂

It would be good to see other artist that aren't even within your label to come forward and request for your artist or band to collaborate with them. I also feel it's to easy to collaborate. For the likes of a artist/band starting out they couldn't really go straight to the likes of Adele and collaborate with them. I think it should be artist available during that current reputation they are on. It would be good see collaborations coming out to gain big hype. I genuinely enjoy this game more than any other game out there but I do feel it needs that tougher part of it to experience the real life music industry.

I totally agree. This is an amazing game. I've never in my life played something so long as I do with this. I would definitely be willing pay for this game. Also it would be great put you down for the steam awards they have. With the new updates that's going to be on this it's going to be unreal. :)

What if you were able to release a deluxe album like many artist do that feature more songs for certain countries that can only be played in that country.
